Well, I'm a Sept surgery, but Sept 9, 2010. Just to let you all know, the next year is going to be exciting. It is a great journey, everything keeps getting better. I've been at goal for a while now and easily maintaining. I've gone from a size 20-22 to a 4 or 6. I'm off all my meds. Getting ready for a knee replacement this week because my knee didn't improve but recovery will be so much easier with 105 lbs gone. I can eat anything with no issues. Just keep on keeping on everyone and the next year will fly by and you will be thrilled at the end.

I had surgery on 9/6. Best thing other than my children that has happen to me. Current;y I am down 51lbs. I have had two stalls that seem to take forever to end. As mention in a earlier post my biggest complaint is constipation. I have added 2 snacks of 1 cup of brand cereral a day. That seems to have address the constipation issue. I can't believe how good I feel
I had surgery on 9/12 and I am doing well!! I had a stricture early out, but that was only a small "bump" in the road!!! I am 36lbs down, and although I wi**** were more, I am very happy with my pouch!!!
My knee really hurts so I still can't exercise. I am waiting until I can at least walk for exercise.... I know that will really increase my metabolism and therefore my weight loss.... Hopefully a few more pounds and I will be there... If not, we will take it a day at a time. :-)
I can't do chicken yet, I will be glad when I can because it will open up sooo many options. I am doing ok on eggs and turkey bacon and turkey chili.... And the occassional EAS carb advantage shake....
Rock On RNY!!! Woooo Hooooo

I revised from lapband to RNY on 9/26 and I am also doing very well. Went back to work in a week and have felt wonderful! I cannot believe how much better I feel without the band induced reflux! Sleeping at night is awesome! Weightloss is slow but I expected that - down 17 pounds since preop liquid diet. My ultimate would be another 20 pounds, but I am going to shoot for another 10 by summertime! Glad to hear everyone is doing so well! Keep up the hard work. . . oh and Happy Thanksgiving!
Mine was Sept 2nd. I had a pretty easy recovery! I have had some time of not losing weight...which drives me crazy but I have been losing inches. I LOVE the gym and go about 5 days a week. I am doing things there that I never thought possible...like spinning! I love my RNY and am so happy I did this for myself!
