Didn't see the post. I hope Diva is out enjoying life and that's why we haven't seen her. She doesn't live that far from me...I might have to go put out an APB.

As for me...Friiiiiday! (It's not really that exciting).

Eats:

1. Subway egg white muffin melt (wasn't that joyful)
2. I will have a salad with lunchmeat and light dressing for lunch
3. For dinner I am doing something with the two heads of cauliflower in my fridge. I'm thinking some sort of skillet meal.
4. I want dessert! Might make some sort of protein trifle. I like trifles.

S: beef jerky
L: protein bar

Good morning. I just did my 30 day shred workout. I'm so glad it is Friday. I have to go get my last min Thanksgiving groceries and clean this house over the weekend. My parents will be here Tuesday.

Eats:
Coffee
Egg whites with bacon bits and cheese
Roasted chicken breast sub from subway (6 inch, but probably only 1/2 the bun)
Greek yogurt with cheery pie filling mixed in
Veggie soup
???

We have small group for church tonight, which means there is always bookoos of unhealthy food. I'm really trying to watch my snacking so hopefully I can stay diligent. I wish I had some Quest bars on hand...a chocolate brownie one would be so yummy and make it so easy!

I had half a muffin earlier and now I am working on a protein shake.  I dunno what lunch will be.  Dinner is going to be jambalaya.

YUM! I've never had a vegetarian version. Care to share the recipe?

Oh, you'll be disappointed.

Vegetarian Jambalaya

1.  Open box of Zaterain's low sodium jambalaya mix.  Boil water as directed on package.

2.  While waiting for water to boil, slice three or four veggie Italian sausages (I have a bunch of coupons for Tofurkey, so that is the brand I will be using for a while) or dice up one to two bags of Morningstar Farms Chick'n Strips (made of soy).

3.  When water boils, add rice mix and sausage or chicken.  Stir.

4.  Cover. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring a couple times during the cooking process.

5.  Tell your partner he's being a baby when he complains that it's too spicy.

hah!  #5 cracked me up

B was 1 small banana with a handful of pills and coffee

L - greek yogurt with SF honey

S - supreme protein pb crunch snack size bar

D -I am working tonight at 430 (bartender), so probably won't get to eat until 10pm so I have no idea, I'm taking a few protein bars with me in case I get hungry and will nibble on those

S - when I get home I've been drinking gingerbread herbal tea ****d) with unflavored protein powder mixed in

I've been training at a new to open steakhouse all week, and they have been feeding us like mad! I've had great protein all week, salmon, grilled chicken, steak (didn't eat it!) and lots of steamed veggies, salads (I can do salad NO problem!) etc.  I never liked salmon, but whatever they do to their, I love it, so I see me eating lots of salmon on the job.

My food is boring today too. Have a couple 8 year olds coming for a small birthday celebration for my grandaughter. They will be making individual pizza's and having rootbeer floats for dessert. Not too tempting for me. Have a great weekend everyone! Stay warm. karen
