More stuff about B12

Thanks for the great info Kelly. The sublingual B12 I am taking right now is driving me up a wall because it just DOES NOT melt. Like, at all. I'm thinking of switching to the spray or another brand (gonna check out the options on my next trip). My last resort is to order from Celebrate (I had samples and I know they melt without issues) but I hate how expensive they are.

I haven't done a sublingual except for the first few months after surgery, and I can't remember the brand but it did melt just fine.  I didn't like the taste, though.  But if you post a question on this board, people can tell you which brands melt better.

Before surgery, my b-12 levels were 3000 and I wasnt taking any. So I doubt it is toxic at that level.

Wow.  Why do you think it was that high?  Or what did your doc think?

I have no idea and they never guessed or asked what I was doing. I liked to eat big steaks pre-op so maybe thats where I got it from? my steaks were almost rare.

Thanks for the info. I take the injections and I love them the best. I only have to did that once a month, one less thing to take every day.  Plus it's cheap  - less than $10 for almost a years supply.

I didn't even know they made B12.  Thanks for letting us know it melts well.  I do injections myself but I hear people complain from time to time that their sublingual takes half an hour or so to dissolve.  That would be such a pain.
