13 days and a wake up
Congrats!
Time will be here before you know it. At least you can eat a modest Turkey Dinner for Thanksgiving (if your surgeon hasn't put you on a pre-op diet). I'm presently in the pureed phase, I sincerely hope that my surgeon will cut me some slack and allow me to have some well chewed turkey (with a little stuffing....shhhhh) and a couple of chunks of cut up yams with only nutmeg, and cinnamon with no suger. I've gotten the meal planned in my head. Hopefully he'll go for it when I go to the surgeon later this week.

Great Job! Make sure you are getting lots of water in before surgery...it helps the recovery I think....Have you gotten a good blender yet for the protein drinks and to puree your food after surgery yet? Also...get a shopping list ready for your first 2-3 weeks...Things like the soups, Greek yogurt, applesauce...sugar free jello (I liked the jello make your own over the pre-made....). Take your picture the night before or morning of....and measure yourself as well...I lost my first set of measurements...LOL (glad the doctor had a set as well..) We are here for you after....and rooting for you all the way!
