Protein quiz - with a prize!
OK, this is not a big prize, but I got a sample of Bariatric Advantage chicken soup protein mix, and I don’t eat chicken so I won’t use it. So whoever answers all the questions first gets it!
1. Name five bad things that happen if we don’t get enough protein.
2. Explain why those protein shots or bullets are not a good choice for us. Bonus points if you can tell us where collagen (the main type of protein in those shots) comes from.
3. f you can’t tolerate whey protein powders, what alternatives do you have?
4. How will you know for sure if you are getting enough protein?
5. How much protein can we absorb at one time?

Deb T.
Anyone else that still wants to play can do so. Name five other things that can happen if you don't get enough protein, give us another alternative to whey protein powder, and tell us what the ASMBS says about how much protein we can absorb at one time.
And yeah - those bullets are very expensive jello! I never really thought of it before, but you could just buy some packages of jello, mix it with water and drink up.

Wrong type of protein, they are mostly collagen. Collagen protein comes from boiled skin and hooves of cows, horses and pigs and does not have all the aminio acids we need.
