Syntrax cappucino protein powder

I got some vitamins in the mail today and every time I order vitamins from vitlady I also order a couple protein samples that I haven't tried before.  So today I got a sample of Syntrax cappucino flavor.

For those that have tried it, how do you like it prepared?  With milk?  Water?  Has anyone tried it hot?

I've never had it hot so I'm no help there.  I love frappuccinos so I blend it with SF chocolate syrup, ice, milk and some cold decaf coffee.  Depending on what mood I'm in I'll add SF caramel or raspberry syrups.  It's pretty good.  Mix it with the milk before blending though.  Adding the powder to the ice mix makes it clump really bad.

Yeah, I always mix all the other ingredients first, then add ice (or frozen fruit).

I just finished making a shake and it is delicious!  I used about five ounces of skim milk (which my partner bought to eat with cereal because he doesn't want soy milk but I want to finish the half gallon before it spoils) and five ounces of soy milk, soy slender cappucino flavor, and about 3/4 scoop of powder.  OMG, it is so good.  I just shook it in a cup with a lid and it mixed in really well.  That is one thing I like about Syntrax.

Anyway, I have enough powder for one more shake tomorrow.  Then I gotta buy a tub of this stuff.

That sounds really yummy.  Syntrax is pretty much all I drink.  It's spendy but it doesn't have that funky whey aftertaste a lot of proteins do.  I use the Chocolate Truffle in some milk when I'm craving chocolate milk.  No other protein I could drink straight like that.  I love how it mixes easily too.  You don't have to worry about drinking it and then getting a clump of something.  Over the summer I used the cherry with some lime juice and made cherry limeades.  They were amazing.

The only ones I tried before this was the roadside lemonade and the lemon tea.  The lemon tea I thought was horrible and the lemonade I thought was Ok but I didn't love it.  But this, I love.

have you tried the vanilla?  Is it good too?

I use the vanilla and chocolate to create frap like drinks. Blend with light soy milk and a shot od decaf expresso. Very tasty. I love both flavors and immediately post op I drank primarily the fuzzy navel, because it gave me a juice liked flavor.

I'm glad I read this post. I bought a 13 variety sample pack a while ago and haven't tried and of the flavors yet because I was so turned off by all the other protein drinks I've had thus far.

Protein shakes really are not all alike.  Also, sometimes one flavor of a brand tastes bad to me but another flavor of the same brand tastes yummy.  Like I love the Syntrax cappucino but hate the Syntrax lemon tea, and I hate the Oh Yeah strawberry and but love Oh Yeah banana and Oh Yeah cookies n creme.

What I've also found is that you can take one protein powder and fix it lots of different ways and it might taste great one way and icky another.  Like syntrax roadside lemonaide gets way too foamy for me in the blender but it's good in a shaker bottle.  Chike is much better mixed with milk but BSN Lean Dessert is good in water (IMO).

Also some do well in hot drinks and some don't.

You are welcome.  Just keep in mind, though, when it comes to protein drinks, people have really different tastes so what I think is delicious, you might think tastes like butt.
