What's a stuff swap? Where you offer up WLS products (food and non-food welcome) that you don't like/want and others do too. We all get to browse and inquire on what we want.

Here's what I set up.

Here is the Google doc for the swap: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoKOGDDDmN2adGZ KVUJBMXd5QlU4Z0JDd284cjJ4c0E

Directions:

For people who have stuff to offer:

1. Fill in as much information about the products you have as you can. Please do a separate line for each type of product you have.

2. Please provide an email address at which someone could contact you to "claim" the product.

3. When your product is "claimed" (all gone), please go back to the sheet and mark  it as such so people won't contact you anymore about it.

4. Please don't give out any more information about yourself than you are comfortable giving.

For people who would like to "claim" stuff:

1. Email the person who has the stuff you want expressing interest.

2. You two should work out paying for postage (COD ,etc.).

3. If anyone tries to solicit you for money for their products, DO NOT PAY THEM! And please let me know the name of the person who does such and I can remove them from the list or put a warning up.

4. While you do need to give a shipping address, please do not give out any more information aside from that than you are comfortable giving.

FAQs:

Yes, you can offer up items that have been opened, but you have to indicate that they are so people know in advance.

Yes, please do provide your real first name at least so someone can write you a proper email.

Yes, you are allowed to "claim" stuff even if you haven't offered anything.

If there is any more information about your "stuff" you feel needs to be added, feel free to modify the spreadsheet. I left it open to edits. Please do NOT remove any of the information I already put there.

Nik, I hope my information was kept on the sheet.  I closed when finished.  Not all that familiar with the google thing except i do know that numerous people can be in it at the same time.

Thanks for this ... Jameen

Yep. Google automatically saves stuff so you don't have to press "save." I see what you added. Thanks for joining in!

Just a suggestion for people who have canisters of protein powder.  It is a lot cheaper to ship if you put it in a plastic bag.  I have a couple of canisters of protein powder I will be giving away as soon as my new shipment of unflavored whey isolate comes in.  I just got these from Walmart to hold me over until then.
I also have a question?  Would this include clothes or should that be a seperate swap list?

If it is stuff, you can swap it!!!

I don't want there to be a lot of "rules" for this. Just the good common sense ones (like not paying for stuff that's 'sposed to be free...etc.).

:)

ETA: You might want to add columns for clothing info or even put a seperate page in the spreadsheet for clothes. Lemme know if you need help with that.

this is exciting.

I have clothing for swapping, but not sure about what I all have.  I will have to post when I get home.

Great idea Nik!
