Anyone interested in doing an OH "Stuff Swap"?

I've been obsessed with this concept lately. And I think there might be an opportunity to do one here. I may have figured out a way.

Glad you asked that. I was getting ahead of myself. A stuff swap is where you offer up any WLS products you tried and didn't like to others who may want to try something new. And you also get to browse what others have and try something new.

If I agreed to organize this, would our board be interested in doing a "stuff swap"? If there is interest I can post more about how it works (for those who are inclined to say "depends on how it'd work). For the purposes of this little poll assume that:

1. It won't take a lot of work on your part to advertise what you have.
2. You will need to communicate directly with the person receiving your stuff to work out postage
3. You will have to pay postage for the stuff you want

If there is no interest, I respect that too. But just wanted to check! Seems to me we tend to buy stuff en masse cuz we heard it's good and then when we don't like it, it can sit, unused, forever. Might be a good way to try new things and be good stewards of the stuff we have!

I think this is a great idea ok my question here is an example I have a whole bag of bariartic advantage strawberry powder I made two shakes one pre op and one post op I hate the taste but it's going to waste and it was 50 bucks I would gladly swap with someone for something else but it's opened is that going to matter to people I don't know

There would be a place to indicate if it is opened or unopened. If someone wants to try it, they can express interest. If not, you're stuck with it! (But either way, no harm, no foul, right?)

Yep I love the idea for sure I was planning on throwing it away because I can't stand the taste. I am on board

sounds good.  I have a 90 bottle of the BA Chewable Chocolate tablets.  Tried one.  CLosed the bottle and put them in my cabinet.  I know many people love them.  They just were not for me.

I'm definitely in! I trade kid/mom stuff on a parenting board that I'm part of and it works really well

I think the best way to do it would be to start an official trade thread. You can post your ISO (in search of) and your IHA (I have available)with trade values and work out a trade via messages. Postage is easily paid via paypal. This way you have delivery confirmation/tracking numbers, which should be mandatory to protect both parties.

Thanks for suggesting this Nik! I have a bunch of random powders/bars that I don't like and they just sit here!

Actually I don't think it's a good idea to house it on the board. Stuff gets buried too quickly. I set something up that will enable folks to access it more easily. I suppose there is enough interest so I can tap out a note about it. I just want to see if a FEW more folks are interested!
