Men...sorry. I'm a woman. This is what we do.

Yowsa, I got it all this month: bloating, emotions, irritability. God help the next person who says anything off to me today!

In a former life I would have used this as an excuse for a craptastic eating extravaganza.

I don't wanna do that anymore. But I do like to reminisce on doing it. It's kinda like how we reminisce on really good a** whippings we got as kids. It's bad. But it's funny.

So back inna day I would have been all over some rocky road ice cream and pizza. You?

I actually didn't pig out with mine, I lost my appetite. Plus I never really got pms, just cramping like no other that would last almost the whole time.

My TOM started today without warning.  A week early.  Sure I was crabby yesterday, but I have 4 kids that were annoying me after my long day at work.
Last month I wanted to eat everything in sight, just like the preop days.  Funny thing about me is I found that I drop my most weight during my period.  Go figure.

Back in the day I would have inhaled a whole bag of mini candy bars in 2 minutes flat.

My go to food when I was feeling major PMS was macaroni and cheese.  The ooey gooey kind, not that dry powder box ****  But good, creamy, fattening mac and cheese.  With lots of bread and butter. Mmmm yes

the issue is I have PMDD, so I get 2 weeks of PMS every month when I'm not medicated to prevent it.  NO wonder I was so overweight LOL

About my third cycle day in I lose my appetite and actually turn to a bland light diet or I feel sick to my stomach.

This week is my second TOM since surgery and I'm a crime scene and a cramp ***** drinking Tylenol for it since that's all I can take for pain and staying the hell away from carbs because I know it will be my downfall if I start.  I'm also really really thirsty, which means I'm getting fluids in of course, but I'm also in the potty half the damn day too.

I hope you feel better and don't kill anyone, but if you need an alibi, we went to the movies!

my pms was a month long thing.  One week of being hungry...one week of not being hungry....one week of cravings...like reeses.  And the day before i get it, you better not look at me wrong or i am liable to get very very pissed and bite your head off.  My TOM changed a lot after i turned about 45..one month light and crampy...the next month heavy and no cramping.  I got my TOM the day before my surgery and then one since and i think i skipped it in Oct.  Oh well...lol
