That's awful...they need to give you gas money and parking money if that applies. How annoying, especially since you're not too hip on going to there in the first place, right?

The receptionist made a mistake. Yes a mistake that inconvenienced you and cost the therapist $. No appt. no patient. no fees. But if it were me and she sincerely apologized I guess I'd allow that she is human and screwed up. If it is a chronic problem there that is another issue.

I know she is human and everyone makes mistakes.  And she did apologize.  That doesn't mean I'm not annoyed.  But I'm not gonna tell my therapist she should be fired over it!  I realize it's not a huge deal.  Especially for me, since my schedule is very flexible.  It's not like I had to take off work to go to the appointment.   But I'd spent the morning getting myself emotionally ready for it and so I am unhappy  that that was for nothing.

I think you have every right to speak up because your time is valuable. I know you won't go off half ****ed. I just see some threads turn into a feeding frenzy and it sent me too far off the other way, you know?

I really hope she apologizes again and I think you should call and confirm before your next appt. to make sure she didn't screw up again!

I didn't mean to offend you Kelly

I'm not offended.

I now have an appt tomorrow at 3 pm.  So I will call about 2:00 and make sure it's still on the books for 3!
