Water Consumption Suggestion
Hallo.
I have been going through water bottles to find one I "like". I stumbled across SubZero's stainless steel bottles, the tall skinny ones. Just for giggles, I measured how much water they hold (because I have nothing else better to do than measure everything!). Each bottle holds 24 oz (three 8 oz cups). I manage to get through two at work, and almost another full bottle at the gym plus a coffee in the mornings. I figured I was getting there.
Then I decided "getting there" may not be "cutting it", and decided to try drinking 4 of them a day, plus whatever I go through at the gym.
I like the bottles, and now own 7 of them and have tossed all my plastic water bottles.
What do you use to get your required water during the day?

I prefer the Camelbak - I do better with a straw, and this is nonspillable. Because it's translucent, I can see how close I am to finishing each 24 oz bottle, and early out, that helped me to drink more.
I do have a pair of S-biners (like a carabiner clip, only s-shaped) on the carry ring that has 10 colored rings on it. Every time I finish a bottle, I move one ring from the top 'biner to the bottom. Yes, in the summer, I will regularly go through 11-14 bottles per day camping or on the boat. In the winter, it's 5-7. It's also helpful because many of the teachers I work with also use the Camelbaks, so my rings make sure everyone knows which is mine.

i either use my regular kitchen cups which are 16 oz, my water bottle that is 32 up to the last line but holds probably around another 4 oz, or one of those 'cold cups' with the lids and straws that are everywhere lately. i have a big one from bed bath and beyond that is at least 24 oz (it seems bigger to me i should measure it out). and if i'm drinking hot beverages i use one of the cups that looks like a starbucks one, i believe its 16 oz
