I dont really remember, IVe been looking for my papers. I know the lady that they had come in to determine whether I could find a job or keep a job with my conditions, said no that I would be fired and would not be able to hold a job.  the pysch they sent me to said that my way of thinking and depression would most likely keep me from being able to hold a job or something like that..  but he still denied me anyways.

I'm a nurse and work in the intensive care unit. I have been doing this for nearly 17 years. I love what I do, but some days are hard emotionally. Although I can't imagine doing anything else at least right now in my life. Maybe one day.

Is that an interesting job?  I always thought it would be.  I thought I would be pretty good at it, because I am good at staying calm in stressful situations and calming other people down and stuff.  I'm guessing it's often pretty boring, though.  Do you get a lot of real emergency calls?  And do you get a lot of stupid calls that should not be going to 911 at all?

I am a disabled stay at home wife/soon to be mom! I'm looking into going back to school for something, not sure exactly what right now. Looking for something part time to keep my mind busy but right now and in the near future my focus is on making sure I have a healthy baby! I am high risk and this has been a difficult pregnancy so my main concern is staying pregnant and making sure I'm as healthy as possible. I'll be a stay at home mom once he's here and eventually I'll find some at home part time work!
I have been having issues with feeling useless or like I'm not doing enough. I fought for 5+ yrs for disability that I really didn't want but needed! I used to work in customer service before an accident in 2003.

Presently I work as a secretary at a rehab center in our local hospital. Before that I was an IT consultant in Canada. I moved here to marry my husband. We met online and were friends for 3 years before we finally met. Once we met, our friendship blossomed into a wonderful relationship. He's the best man I've ever met. (except for my Dad, LOL). I'm very happy except I miss my family in Canada. But I get back every so often to see them. I have 2 grown children from a previous marriage and 6 beautiful grandchildren.

I've been a stay at home Mom since 2001 ish.  I like to call it Domestic Engineer.

I respect people who work and raise kids.  I feel like this is a full time job plus and sometimes the thought of doing one more thing drives me a little crazy.  I'm not an overscheduler either.

I try and do a lot of volunteering with local organizations and give back what I've been givn. ; )
