OMG, I have cramps! TMI
It's that time of month and I usually do not get cramps, or maybe have a little bit of cramping the first day and that's it. This is day three, though, and I've had cramps for three days, but today is the worst. And Tylenol? Yeah. Just not cutting it.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

Since I have had so many kids

What I keep on hand is Tramadol....I take 100 mg and I also take a muscle relaxant Flexeril 10mg.......hope you feel better
that is the only thing I miss about being pregnant for the majority of my marriage......no periods

Try chasing the tylenol with some caffine...(coffee or if you drink it..soda)...it helps.
Or try the Midol brand with acetaminophen; for whatever reason that caffine really helps.
Since the age of 11 I have had bad cramps...throwing up and just out of it for the first 2 to 3 days. ADVIL was always my drug of choice. My first period after surgery had me in the ER cause I was throwing up for 24hr striaght and dehydrated. My sister gave me the tip of using Tylenol with the caffine and I haven't had an episode like that since. NOW don't get me wrong it's not ADVIL but it does take the edge off.
