Got my surgery Date Dec.6

Ok know I am real nervious 4 weeks away he brought the lap band surgery up but I wanted the gastric so gastric it is.

WOWWW CONGRATS! I see me and you have the same surgeon! How long from your 1st appt with him did you get a surgery date, and what health insurance do you have? I have Kaiser Permanente, and I did my 6mos with my NUT and alot of my pre op stuff was done with my PCP. My insurance approval, and my referral was sent over to DR. Moe's office and I have my 1st appt tomorrow! Once again good luck

He told me that day my surgery date I have bluecross and blue shield. Youwill get the date on your appointment I will see you in the presurgery class on Nov, 17 at 9:00 if you get the surgery in dec. did he recommend lapband to you first he did for me but I wanted the gastric heard better results with this surgery.

Actually my insurance would not cover the lap band because my BMI was to high( 46) so my insurance would only cover for the sleeve and Gastric so I chose the gastric, because just like you I heard that it has greater results, and the sleeve has not been around that long! SO I will check in with you tomorrow to tell you what happened at DR. Moe's office!
