I am only 3 weeks post-op and I have weighted the exact amount for 6 days. Did anyone else do this?

Yup, its normal.. just stick to your plan and you'll be fine.  I stayed the same between weeks 4 and 6... the 2 surgeons in my surgeon's office switch off and for my 6 week appt the lapband surgeon did my follow up.. she felt it was necessary to make me feel bad about staying the same.. seemed to think that RNY patients shouldn't be stalling that early.  I was following their program.  anyway, the next week I lost 6 lbs.

If possible, just try to stay off your scale.  I know its diffucult, but it really doesn't help you any at the stage you're at.  You're not going to wake up one morning skinny, so don't be looking to the scale so often to see if its happened.

A LOT of people go through the 3-5 week stall. It's totally normal. It's your body readjusting to the trauma of surgery and lack of food.

I stalled during weeks 3 and 4. I finally had my husband hide the scale. It started losing again around week 5 and have been losing ever since. (I'm just over 3 months.) Ironically, I started losing again when I upped my calories from 400-500 a day to closer to 700-800. I now try to keep my calories at around 900-1000 day, per my nutritionist's recommendations.

Almost everyone does that.  You won't lose weight every day, or every week, or even every month.  That's just how weight loss works.  If it bothers you, stay off the scale.

I lost 9lbs in 9 days after surgery and then hit an almost 3wk stall.  It is frustrating as all get out and although you know it isn't the case, you are sure you are the first person the surgery isn't going to work on.  However, with a whole lot of patience, you'll be back on track soon.

I will give you the same advice I was given at the same stage you are in :
THROW THAT SCALE OUT THE WINDOW!!!
that being said... totally normal. Don't get on the scale for at LEAST a week and I'll bet you lose at least 5 pounds. I think 3 1/2 or so weeks out I hit a stall didn't lose any for about 10 days, finally stopped weighing, waited about a week, got on the scale and had lost I think it was like 11 pounds. Your body is FREAKING OUT right now. Let it adjust. Keep your water/protein intake up, do like you're supposed to do.... take your vitamins. And STAY OFF THE SCALE. Believe me, it's easier that way!
