Was wondering if anyones tried them? Can you stomach them?? I can't get my protein in the save my life... I have to nurse it ALL day which leave me not wanting to eat.  I was thinking if I could get these shots down in a few chugs, I might be better off.

Anyone????

I have tried the liquacel shots (grape was ok and orange was nasty). I was told to put two ice cubes in the shot, plug my nose and shoot it.... it did work and wham I have 16 grams in... Only problem I am having is trying to find them local.

They contain mostly collagen protein, which is made from the boiled skin and hooves of cows, horses and pigs, and does not contain all the amino acids we need.  You will get very little protein from one of those.  Some contain a little whey isolate or calcium caseinate, but not enough to make them worth the money.

If you want a lot of protein in a small amount of liquids, make your own protein shots using about three ounces of liquid and a scoop of whey isolate protein powder.

DIY shot: 2-3 oz water, scoop of unflavored whey isolate protein, and the SF Torani syrup of your choice.  I got my wife these Torani syrups, when SF snowcone flavors were always out of stock, now that summer is over.  To make it easier to pour, I used the flip top plastic bottle from the used snow cone flavors, or use some other unbreakable bottle with a narrow pouring opening. The Torani syrups come in glass bottles (at least the ones I find locally) and my wife has some issues grasping items.  Using the flip top bottles allows to easier control the amount of liquid you want, as well as NOT breaking a glass bottle all over the kitchen.  DAVE

I don't think they are worth it.  You could try calling the manufacterer and see if you can find out how many grams of the protein in them comes from the whey isolate and calcium caseinate, but they often don't like to share information like that because then consumers realize how little protein they actually get from those shots.

Agree with Kelly...collagen protein = cheap protein. Shots' protein content comes mostly from collagen protein. We can't absorb it, so it's not worth it.

This is one my surgeon recommends.  figures out to a buck an ounce for both types.  they are both very sweet.

I wouldn't recommend for all the time, but once in a whille on the go will keep your blood sugar from crashing.

Do NOT be fooled by the "whey" in the title.  The amount of whey proetin in these is very minimal. You are NOT getting anywhere even close to 42g of protein from these, so they are a waste of money and calories... and you are risking your health if you are relying on the protein from these to meet your protein goal for the day!!  Not only is the VAST majority of the protein collagen (which is an inferior form of protein anyway), but they do not have all the necessary amino acids that your body needs to absorb even the crappy protein.  They have a PDCAAS score of
