Argh!!! Don't you hate it when... (OT)

Oh, they all like to sit on my keyboard when I'm trying to type. Not only does that make it hard to type, but they push random buttons and then weird things pop up on my computer and I don't know what they did or how to fix it.

When they lie on my face when I'm sleeping, I think they are trying to tell me they want the pillow. They are pillow hogs.

Oh yes. My cat does this. I even started putting a regular cup full of water by his bowl. He drinks that but stil attacks the other water glasses.

Oh, that I know! This one may not be with us too much longer, either. She is only 12 years old but has diabetes and a couple years back had cancer. She had surgery and then chemo for the cancer (yes, chemo for a cat - what are you going to do? she recovered from the cancer) and has been cancer-free since then but lately has been losing weight (although she still seems to eat like a pig) and sometimes she just goes to the bathroom wherever she happens to be sitting, like she doesn't know she has to go, so I don't think she is doing so well now. So she is forgiven for spilling my water. I really don't know what I'm going to do when she's gone.

Friday we found out the results of Princess's lap biopsies - carcinomatosis. So after doing well from chemo in the past year from her original intestinal carcinoma and lymphoma, it sounds like cancer is bigger than the love we have for her. I'm taking her to her oncologist in an hour because she hasn't eaten all weekend, is lethargic & barely drinking or using the litter box. I'm really struggling with the knowledge that euthenasia may have to be coming really soon for her. We've already got an appointment scheduled with a grief counselor for this Wednesday....

I used to have a cat that looked just like Garfield. He was just as fat, too. At night he would slink up the side of me, then creep into my chest.

It was like being sat on by a bowling ball.
