Isn't the unsweetened ice tea from Sonic the BEST?? I love that stuff. I have not had it since surgery because I am trying hard to avoid caffeine, but I LOVE that stuff!

ehhh - my eating habits have sucked.  I wasn't going to post but thought I would for my own accountability and make myself really look at it and try to do better.

2 light string cheese sticks
2 servings of reduced fat wheat thins
NSA Carnation instant breakfast with 1 1/2 c FF milk
1/4 c mac salad
1/2 c lettuce with 1/2 egg and blue cheese dressing
1 cup broc cheese soup (resturant - sure it was higher fat) with 10 single crackers
And about 8 gum drops

Yup - there you have it...  my not-so-well day (and many look like this)

But- the good news is pre RNY it would have been 7 or more times as much food and I would have had much more than the soup. So, I try to remember that and while I may not be giving my body the healthiest food I could, I still consider it successful from the pre-surgery days.

i've eaten pretty much nothing today

was not in the mood for anything for breakfast
had a mozzarella, tomato and bacon panini for lunch with a couple chips
i think i'm gonna heat up some yummy soup i made the other day for dinner... its a chicken and white zinfandel broth with chicken breast, tomato, shredded mozzarella and spices. it didn't turn out as good as i planned but i didn't let it sit as long either so the leftovers will probably be better.

 Congrats on your 100 pounds!

For breakfast I had a veggie breakfast sandwich from Caribou. It was on this small wheat roll, that was oddly light. The whole thing was amazing and I enjoyed it for an entire hour. I didn't want it to end. I followed that with Breve Latte (my weekly guilty pleasure).

Lunch was a Jif-To-Go (I too suffer from PB addiction) on mini sandwhich round/flat bread.

Snack was goldfish crackers *** yeah...I got nothin')

Dinner was chili with cheese. Yum.

I have a funny...My mom said she couldn't eat chili for a year after her surgery. With my mouth stuffed with food I sad, "Oh gawd...I eafe et all feh fime!"

lets see, for breakfast i had 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with some SF applesauce ontop

lunch i had some wendys chili, (1/2 a serving) and i had like a 1/3rd of the side salad with some low cal, low everything vinegrette.

For dinner, i tried my hand at having some real meat.. about 3 ounces of filet mignon with a demi glace.. and about 1/3 cup of blackbean soup with shredded cheese.. didnt finish the soup, but the steak was PERFECT!

im so glad i am getting some more variety.. its hard because i find myself to be a creature of habit, so i eat alot of the same things during the week.. but this dinner was my week 6 treat!

Today was a much better day than yesterday.  I ate a can of soup and it made me sick!  But today, I had:
B-Isopure and an EAS Shake (Rich Dark Chocolate which is the best!)
S- Protein smoothie with pineapple and plain greek yougart with a protein shot
L- tuna and eggwhite
D-EAS shake
S-sugar free ice pop

I was very excited to have the tuna and not get sick!!!!  I want to try salmon, brown rice and green beans tomorrow (semi pureed)

Peace and Love,
devasinger

 congrats on the 100 lbs...awesome.

Well i started a new job this week and have been eating at work...taking my food with me.  I like how it works out cause i keep busy during the day and have gotten a lot of exercise also.

B: egg & 1/2 toast
L:  1/2 cup beef stew and 1oz cojack lo fat cheese
D:  chicken (rotisserie) and some mixed vegies.
S:  Banana/Strawberry protein shake
Should be about 65 - 70 grams of protein for the day. I am proud to be able to get it in finally.  I took awhile but now i can eat a bit more and its working great.

I've not been very hungry today, probably because I am overtired from working six days in a row:

Lunch - salad with spinach, romaine, spring mix, garbanzo and kidney beans, grilled chicken breast, red bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, slivered almonds and light italian/light ranch dressing

Dinner - Oh Yeah! Chocolate Mint wafers and a Laughing Cow Garlic Herb wedge (yes, weird combo, I know)
