What's for dinner - what have you eaten today? Friday!

Trying to get more consistent with this thread. Anyone else wants to start it, you will not offend me!

So for dinner...um...dunno. I am preparing to receive our troop's cookie order this evening so my house will be inundated with cookies for a good long while. Ugh. Between that and prep for the Holiday Food Tasting my house is a hot mess. Ya heard me???

What I ate today. For once I ate a good lil amount today.

1. PB - straight up off the spoon. Ugh. Addiction sucks. At least it was the two tablespoon serving though.

2. 1/2 a Tivoli salad from Salad Works (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ham, chicken, pepperoni, usually comes with pasta but I skipped it) w/ Lite Creamy Parmesan dressing

3. I'm munching on the other 1/2 of that salad now.

4. Might have a bite of a protein banana caramel loaf in a bit.

5. ???

So there you have it. I need to plan better. What's on your plate?

Been busy all morning on a string cheese and 4 oz. of soy eggnog.
Time to eat real food.
Lunch will be 1 slice of 45 calorie whole wheat toast with 1 TBSP
of reduced fat peanut butter and low-sugar jam, preceded by my yummy
chai protein drink.
Dinner is home-made chili and cornbread (I will have the tiniest slice!)
Evening snack will be Chobani cheesecake yogurt for me while the fam
has hot Razzleberry pie.

Nik, your salad sounds delish!

I am always intrigued when people say they have a protein drink before a meal. About how long before? Just wondering. I can't do that. I drink protein and I eat nothing for maybe 3 hours. Even the thinnest ones.

I can drink one and immediately eat something, but I usually wait 20 minutes
or so. Sometimes I feel full, but usually not.  I'm not usually starving either, so
I have to watch myself because I could add lots of calories by drinking them
and then eating too.  I normally have one for breakfast and then I don't eat
until lunch, but I'm not at work today and my eating is all goofed up. It's late
afternoon here and I'm just thinking about lunch!   I also still don't ever feel
really hungry or full, unless I really overdo it. I don't know if I'll ever get much
of a hunger signal back.

Lets see,

Breakfast was a fried egg and half of a piece of ham.

A GINORMOUS iced tea from Sonic

Lunch was half of a turkey Subway sandwich.

Refilled the iced tea with tea I had at home.

Snack was however much egg salad one hard boiled egg makes.

Dinner is chicken thighs that have been in the slow cooker all day with salad or green beans.

I imagine I'll have a ****tail later this evening.

This has been an AWESOME day for me and I'm very happy that I didn't celebrate with food. This morning I have officially lost 100 pounds and I purchased size 8!!!! jeans. Really, an awesome day.
