OT - Need help picking out a birthday gift
For La Petite Diva. She's turning 10. She is a girly-girl. She's ALWAYS in my perfume so for her birthday I was going to go and get her a bottle of perfume for herself. But what fragrance does one buy for a ten year old?

GO to the perfume counter at you local Macy's whatever and ask them...they know their stuff and will help you pick out something good for a 10 yr old. I used to sub at a perfume counter long ago and was amazed with what they knew.

Natural Essential oils type. Some that make her feel good. Lavender and rose increased cognitive functions b relaxing the brain and increasing blood flow to it. It is relaxing and happy ... Check Trader Joe or Whole foods... Great selection.. pretty and sweet and good for her...

go to a store like Justice. They have lots of stuff for pre teen girls. I may have a 40 percent off coupon I can send you. I bought my 2 girls a set of perfume last year that was supposed to match their personalities. They also have lots of lip glosses in candy flavors my girls adore. You also might try Clair's. They have a lot of stuff like that.

My friends 13 y/o loves getting sets from bath and body. Justice is also a good one too. I always have to laugh when you refer to your girls. B/c I call my almost 3 y/o ident twins " The Diva's" B/c that is what they are....just like their mama! I like it so much better than "The Twins" :)

I second the idea of getting a body spray from Bath and Body Works. However, if you want a real perfume for her, Amazing Grace by Philosophy is light and appropriate as is the one called 'Clean Cotton T-Shirt'... both of those smell delicious but not too mature smelling (whatever THAT is, lol).
