I love to sing in general but karaoke is the best because it doesn't matter if you are good. Its just about having fun and acting crazy. I can't rap but that doesn't stop me from bustin out some Snoop Dogg if I get the chance :)

I watch the boards still but don't post much anymore. 

Right now favorite activity is NOT working on the house.  We have been burning the candle at both ends painting and getting our house ready to sell.  We were able to go house hunting in Maryland last week and bought a house.  We received orders last week to move in two weeks but we did know about the move for a month or so before hand.  We are looking forward to spending our weekends exploring Maryland and DC.  

By the way, I really like your recipes and blogs.  My favorite recipe is your butterfinger protein shake...so delicious.

I am Sara, surgery this coming Wednesday, 10/12.  It's not night time for me, as it's only 5:22 PM here in Maui, the sun is still shining here! 

This weekend I have been straigtening up the house, getting rid of any temptation in the kitchen cabinets, and completely emptying the liquor cabinet.  I gave everything away, I did not empty the liquor cabinet in the usual way.  

Normally I like to snorkel and hang out on the beach on the weekends.  Nothing is better than a good book sitting in the shade on the beach!  Maui is a beautiful place, and I am so lucky to live here.  I also like to knit and I am learning to sew.  

I am open to trying new things to distract myself from eating!!!

Fave weekend Activity -- its a toss-up, I love random road trips with the family (there's 6 kids between us) but for myself, one of my personal favorites is Karaoke, I was a KJ for about 3 years until it became too much to work full time days and 4 nights a week at the bar......hb
