What's for dinner - Thursday!
Carbs. I love them. I HATE them.
So for those of you who DON'T hang on my every word (which would be most of you thankfully, cuz then my head would be even bigger than it already is), I have been having a succession of small pouch days.
Today, though, I kinda sorta had an appetite. So when a co-worker invited me to go to Uno's for lunch I was all for it. I got whole wheat flatbread personal sized pizza. Roasted eggplant and feta cheese. Ate a few slices (slices are small). Was very happy.
I AM NOW FRICKING STARVING. I dunno what's better or worse. No appetite or a big one. I try to take it all in stride.
Having said that I just polished off two MORE slices of my pizza. "Dinner" if I can call it that will likely be this new protein shake I am developing for the Bariatric Foodie Holiday Food Tasting. Here's what else I've had today:
B: 1/2 c. cottage cheese w/ PB2 and Fiber One 80 cal cereal
L: Salad with a ginormous nugged of walnut encrusted goat cheese, blueberries and raspberry vinaigrette + some of my personal pizza
S: pizza
So I'm in carbyville, but what's on YOUR plate?

1/3 Stuffed Chicken breast. (Pesto, roasted red peppers and FF Ricotta)
Greek Salad (Tomato, cucumber, green bell pepper, red pepper, red onion, lots of feta cheese)
Dinner:
Mexican Meatball Thoup (Thick soup cookin' away in my Crock Pot))
Evening Snack:
Ak Mak crackers (2) with Lauging Cow wedge cheese
Cantaloupe slice
Late lunch:

kids got to pick dinner tonight. So it is Thayered short ribs, mac n cheese and peas. I am having the ribs and peas.

B: slice of toast with a little butter, slice of fresh mozzarella
L: string cheese and half an apple
i haven't decided on dinner yet, i'm taking a bus to philly and have to leave my apartment around 7, so i'll either eat some leftovers here or pick something up on my way there, either way it probably won't be anything good but i could use some extra calories today, and i'll probably bring some sort of snack for the ride that i may or may not eat

As I'm only just moved up to the soft mechanical diet (soft foods) I'm not eating much or anything exciting.
Breakfast-2 Tbls cooked cream of wheat with splenda and thinned with milk
1 1/2 ounces of lit and fit vanilla yogurt
Lunch; 2 Tblspoon egg beaters with 1 slice fat free cheese
2 Tbls banana (it's actually a 2inch piece of banana
2 tbls mached cooked carrots with a smidgeof smart balance
Dinner: 2 ounces 1% cottage cheese
2 Tbls apple sauce
2Tbls mashed asparagus tips.
later I might have either sugar free jello or sugar free ice pops,

I eat very little yesterday. I had 2 pumpkin spice coffees and celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for lunch. So I was very surprised when I had a piece of bbq rib and black eyed peas and smidgeon of yams and when I started eating right away I got that full feeling! I was getting so mad, because I was looking forward to eating a little more for dinner. After slowing down, and letting the food digest I was able to fini**** all, but boy, some days can eat more and others, so much less!
I Love to hate carbs since they keep me in the bathroom all day the day after. TMI, I cannot go to far from it and once I go and get up and have to go right back.
I can't say what I ate yesterday because it was really bad. But I am on track for the weekend. I just wasn't hungry for the right foods yesterday. But I did do my workout. Back on track now!!!
