Well I'm on my last month of my 3 month pre op diet with the doctor. Ive met with the nutritionist and physiologist and the doct, i have changed my eating habits, been working out at least 3 times a week and upping my protein as much as possible, I drink 64oz of water and watch my carbs as much as i can. This month i started a 2 day a week boot camp and do cardio the other days.  i have a food journal and have been substituting breakfast and dinner for a low carb protein shake. Point is Ive been really trying and on my second doct appointment yest they told me i GAINED a point , WTH IS THAT??? I COULD HAVE BEEN EATING WHAT EVER AND STILL MAINTAINED UGH!!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT I SHOULD DO GUYS????

God grant me with the serenity to accept the things i cannot change ;  Courage to change the things that i can ;  and the wisdom to know the difference!!!

Whow you are doing a great job!  I wonder are you building muscle?  Because you sound like you are doing everything that preop requires.  You will need all that  to help you to recover from the surgery.  I found that when your body has been prepared both physically and nutritionally that good recovery will be on your side.  Well keep up what you are doing and I'll see you on the losers side soon.

It seems to me that your dedication and performance and lack of weight loss PROVES you need to have this surgery to lose weight.  CONGRATULATIONS to you, when you get skinny you will be a HEALTHY skinny!!

Have your clothes gotten bigger?  You could be changing your fat to muscle and it takes up less space.  Don't sweat one pound;  water weighs 8.8# per gallon;  you could take a potty break and
lose it.

Just keep on doing the right thing, and you'll be dancing out of your grannie pants in no time!!!
