barium test and ekg

Had my barium swallow test and ekg today...so far i know my swallow test was good and waiting for test results for the ekg.  so next step is getting set up with a meeting with surgeon and he will set my date then...im getting super excited about this journey that i am about to take...ALSO our house is being set up today ...yay!!!!!! Hope everyone is doing good today

What is the barium swallow test?  Do you have to be able to keep barium down in order to have this surgery?  I sure hope not b/c I know that I can't!

they had to xray you while you drink it...it really isnt that bad
