I never drink chocolate protein powder so here I go!!

I have the following:

Cinnamon da vinci syrup
English Toffee da vinci syrup
Pumpkin Pie da vinci syrup
Butter Rum extract
Peppermint extract
Vanilla extract
Coconut extract
Almond extract (possibly)
No sugar coconut
Vanilla, Chocolate, Cheesecake, Pistachio, and banana pudding mix
Almond butter
Peanut butter
Cocoa powder
Frozen berries possibly in the back of my freezer
Orange crystal light
Click protein (but it has caffiene in it so I'm not sure about adding it this late)

So whatcha think??

English toffee sounds yummy.  Of course, peanut butter would be good too.

You just have to find the right protein and add the right stuff to it. If you drink it just in milk or water with out the pudding or syrups, you are right, they are discusting.  If you go to GNC - they have a money back guarantee- buy it, try it and if you don't like, return it with your receipt for a full refund.  Try getting the GNC - Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein.  If you like chocolate - check out my recipes that I listed below - they are for a chocolate milkshake with a banana in it - I call it a chocolate monkey and protein hot chocolate made with No Sugar added hot chocolate and chocolate protein - the shake has 45 grams of protein and hot chocolate has 35 grams and they are both delicous.  You can alter the flavors of the shake - with vanilla protein and strawberries, strawberry syrups

Here is a link to tons of recipes - I just change the water or milk ratios - I use 8 ounces of milk all the time and I increase the syrup and powders to 2 tablespoons of each - makes the shake thicker.  I do hope this helps a little.

Oh, yeah it does.  You just haven't found the magic recipe that works for you yet.  It truly is possible to make a really yummy protein shake.  I know the first few months after my WLS I did not believe anyone that tried to tell me that.  But they were right.

I think would like the peppermint, but I love York Peppermint patties...The coconut in the chocolate would remind me of a Mounds candy bar..I am going to have to buy some.....The extract, NOT the candy

I put a teaspoon of PB2 in mine and it wasn't bad, but overall I prefer it plain.

You must try it with sugar free butterscotch pudding and a little peanut butter...I use PB2.  We are in Columbia, MD right now house hunting.  We received our orders last week to move here in three weeks....lots to do.  This is our first civilian move.  Have a great day.

This my recipe

8 ounces of milk - I use soy due to lactose intolerance
2 tablespoons of SF chocolate syrup - torani or davinci
5-6 ice cubes
1 1/2 scoops of chocolate protein powder (GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein)
2 tablespoons of SF chocolate pudding powder
1 sliced banana

put is all in the blender for about 45 seconds or until smooth.  You get a delicious chocolate milk shake with about 45 grams of protein.

Protein Hot Chocolate

You can also add the protein powder to Sensibly Sweet No Sugar Added Hot Chocolate 60 calorie packs.  Take 1 1/2 scoops of chocolate protein powder and add 1/3 of a cup of cool water and mix until smooth.  In separate mug - make hot chocolate as usual.  Add the protein mixture to the hot chocolate.  Add milk to taste.  You get a delicious mug of hot chocolate with 35 grams of protein.
