I just came across your post. Thank you so much!! Im going to drag you next year! YES, I said next year. As long and hard the walk was and as tired, wet, muddy, irritated, defeated, elated, and broken I felt at times, I want to to it again!!! It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life. I've never given birth though! haha.
It was such an experience that words can not even describe how I feel. I have such a sense of accomplishment. I was so nervous when we started walking. I can remember thinking Friday evening, how was I ever going to finish. Some people left camp to go to hotels because of the rain. I knew in my head that I was not strong enough to go to a hotel, then show back up for day 2, so we stayed in camp and toughed it out in the mud.
