Vow to stay off the scale, win a prize
Kelly...you are so right.....I am almost 3 months out and I get on the scale every day and sometimes more than once....my 12 yr old daughter got so angry with me cuz I was mad at a couple days stall and was obsessing over it that she hid my scale....now I only get to use it on Sunday mornings!! lol I don't think that I am doing to bad....I will be 3 months of Friday and I am down 57 pounds. Finally my weight starts with a 2!!! :)I would destroy mine but I dont know where it is!! lol :)
Good for your daughter! Honestly, at just three months out, you are going to lose weight. I don't think you could prevent weight loss if you tried. Maybe, maybe, if you drank milkshakes all day instead of water and ate only high calorie foods like cookies and pizza, you might stop losing. But you can only fit so much food in your pouch and you are not absorbing all the calories you do eat, so you'd have to really work at it. If you are eating mostly healthy food, you are going to lose weight. Getting on the scale every day will not speed up that weight loss.
And 57 pounds in less than three months is excellent!

I like that idea....getting rid of the scales. Seems like they do more harm than good. I tend to stress out if I'm not losing weight even though I'm losing inches. I only weigh myself once a week. Can I weigh my self JUST ONE MORE TIME ???? Then I think I can keep from weighing myself for a month. I'm soooo close to my short time goal of 199! Don't know that I can totally get rid of the scales but weighing one a month is something I think I can do.
