Inside of mouth always feels dry and tastes nasty
Look in a mirror and stick out your tongue. If it is white, you have thrush. Call the Dr and get a script. It will probably be lonsenges that you dissolve in your mouth 5x a day for 10 days. Works. It isn't uncommon after surgery but easily resolved.

Ketones do something like jump start your body to start eating fat cells to give you energy instead of muscle cells. this is a good sign as it means your body is doing what its suppose to. I am a bit over a month out and still have this taste. in the morning its the worst it seems. Drink lots of water for dry mouth and maybe eat some listerine strips or sugar free mints occassionally. they say no gum as it promotes hunger? thats just what i have heard.
