Besides b12 what B vitamins do you take?

I'm ordering a new batch of vitamins from Celebrate. I wanted to know what kind of B to get. My surgeon says we need B1. Would that be also complex b vitamins? I don't see B1 on celebrate?

My doc has all his bypass patients also take complex B50.  It has B1 in it as well as others.  You'd be well covered with it.

I get all my vitamins from places like GNC, Walgreens, Walmart, Target...MUCH cheaper and same quality stuff! :)

Now, to answer your question. B12, yes! I also use b1 and b6. (Many places have a B vitamin complex) I inject my b12 every 2 weeks, take B1 daily and b6 3 times a week (in addition to my daily adult vitamin 2 x a day).

Good luck!

Warmly,
Jackie

You need to take sublingual B12 - atleast 1000mcg daily and depending on your labs, you may need more.  As far B1 goes, you need 100mg daily of just plain B1 - you can get it in any vitamin shoppe, GNC or pharmacy.  Try to avoid b complexes as they have all the b vitamins in high doses and we tend to run high levels in B6 which can become toxic.  Be careful

The B complex probably has B1 in it but read the label to make sense.  B1 is also called thiamin.

My doc has us taking the B12 either in shots or sublingual.  I take about 7000 mg per week I think and he also has us take 1000 milligrams of B1 twice a week.  I get that from Bariatric Advantage and one bottle lasts about a year.
