goat milk, anyone?
I visited the hen house where I am getting my eggs now and it looked nice enough and the hens seemed happy, but I don't believe it was temp controlled and they did not have a radio.

I haven't heard the term cowpooling! That's funny. I've heard it called cowshares or herdshares. I may do that and I guess I should look into it more but I was thinking it would probably cost more than I want to spend.

Anyway - goat milk fat doesn't 'glob' together so it is easier digested and supposedly the proteins are easier to digest /absorb. Most lactose intolerant people can drink goat's milk with no problems. It also is said to soothe ulcers!
It has a different taste, but is easy to get used to! And goat cheese is the bomb! I am hoping to get a couple of my own dairy goats so I can cut out the middle man :D
