Someone posted about them a few weeks ago and I bought them today at walmart and they are amazing. They are a sweet treat but have pretty good stats. 6 grams of protein per oz and 5 grams of sugar. Forget the fat on it but it isn't too much in my opinion. Such a great treat!!

I wish I could do nuts without going bonkers. Alas, I cannot. So I abstain.

Aren't they yummy?  and the serving size is pretty big, too.  Can't remember how many almonds a serving is right now, but I know it was pretty big.

One of my friends is obsessed with these and I keep forgetting to buy them. Probably a good thing because I am a nut freak! I could eat my weight in them...

Former almond grower here...Use to grow for Blue Diamond.  You still will be better off with plan almonds.  Just wondering what they are fried in.  Those grams of sugar and fat add up.  I eat plain almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, roasted soy nuts...

Yeah, I mostly "go naked" with my almonds too (I was going to say "Naked with my nuts..." oh Lordy...)

When I want them flavored I do it myself. That way I know what the deal is. It's easy enough to do it. You can even toss them in stuff and pan roast them. YUMMY!

My reigning favorite is to toss almonds with no cal butter spray, a bit of salt and ground chipotle pepper to make spicy almonds. I put them in a dry pan over medium heat and coo****il I start to smell the almonds.

Is part of the processing to "fry" the nuts?  I didn't know.  How can you tell if they've been fried?  Are we to stick with the "raw" nuts to avoid it?  I only eat sparingly and when I do I usually buy roasted.  What should I look for?

I'll defer to the expert but I believe dry roasted means without any oil.
