Hi,

Can someone please give me an idea of what a typical day looks like for sodium intake?

Thanks.

Mine fluctuates considerably AND I have terrible salt cravings that I frequently give in to.  Several times a week I have a SF/non-alcoholic/margarita mainly for the salt on the glass.  Since surgery, my BP runs low and I feel better after having salt.

post op many of us have issues with low BP.  I had to increase salt to help to get my BP a bit higher.  I am not near close to the "allowed 2500 mg".  But trying.

a lot of people say that too much salt is bad - but that when you are dealing with high BP.

I use salt - but try to make sure I use the good quality - sea salt that is full of good minerals... (I like the Himalayan pink salt)
