So I can eat a bowl of chopped up cucumber, zuchini, mushrooms, a bit of feta with salad dressing over the course of half an hour......but can't do single raw carrot.

What the heck is up with that??

That's what happened with me yesterday.

I can eat the cooked carrots that are in soup.

Ever tried raw carrot juice, freshly juiced at a health food store?  Pleasantly refreshing!

Maybe carrots are just too hard and heavy, even finely chewed? Our pouches sure are fickle!

Everyone is different in what they can or can not eat, and it may change in time. The general rule is that foods that are light and less dense are easier to eat and keep down than heavier denser foods. Carrots are very heavy and dense, cooking them both softens them and lightens them. I still after 3 1/2 years can't eat white chicken meat and I still dump. After a while you learn and know what you can and can not eat and you don't give it a second thought.
