What's for Sunday dinner?

Try though I am, I am just not feeling the kitchen or anything happening IN the kitchen. Sigh. It's like impotence. (Foodpotence?)

We sort of scrapped together stuff. The big diva had some leftover KFC she had in the fridge from the other day, the younger one had a grilled cheese sandwich and some fruit and I just had two silver dollar sized Salisbury steak patties (homemade...I always make a few "me-sized" ones) and some Greek yogurt.

Please tell me what's on your plate is more exciting!

Sorry to say dinner wasn't much more exciting: organic chicken thighs baked in spices (rosemary, basil, greek seasoning, garlic) and a cheese stick.

I threw a roast with carrots, mushrooms, onions, celery, and potatoes on this morning before church.  It has been cooking all day and the house smells incredible.  I love my crock pot!

I put some chili in the crockpot earlier and just had some. Pretty yummy and full of protein!

It seems I always am around for these posts when I make a huge production for dinner.  I was so empty the past two days, I wanted something soft and spicy, like chili.  I made my favorite, Guy Fieri's Dragon's Breath Chili - I cut the recipe in half and freeze it in small containers for a quick meal!  Love, love, love this chili.

I made sauce and meatballs today.  The family eats theres with pasta, raviolis and garlic bread, and I just eat the meat and sauce.  Enough for leftovers for Monday and Tuesday so I don't have to cook, yeah!
