Hungrier when sick??

I used to be one of those people that couldn't eat a darn thing when they're sick.  Right now I've got a fever of 102..headache..stuffed all up ..muscle aches..and what feels like the starting of a UTI..

Why the heck do I feel like I'm pigging out LOL. Mom made turkey dinner tonight and I ate..then after it went through my pouch I was hungry again..like actually hungry..hunger pains..so I ate again..let it pass through pouch..and now, 2 hours later..HUNGER PAINS. What the heck?!  

Confused! Anyone else get "the munchies" when they're sick?!

Short answer...OMG...YES!!

At least I'm not the only one..I thought being sick pre-RNY was bad enough...it's horrible now lol I"m limited on what meds I can take so ...GRR. Maybe it's my body trying to store nutrients? Bad thing is I don't want nutrients..I wanted more turkey from dinner...and popcorn. O_o
