For those who care, my incision is healing GREAT

I'm so glad you are healing well.  I know how horrible necrosis is (the skin/tissue around my mastectomy incision died).  Luckily, two surgeries after that I've found that one bad experience doesn't mean we'll always have necrosis issues.  There is always that fear though.

Again, so glad you are doing so well!

Sorry that you had to deal with necrosis, too.  I was mostly worried because I knew the surgeon was going to use the same midline incision that broke down before.

Yikes!  No wonder you were worried.  Now I'm doubly glad everything is ok.  It eases my mind a little for breast reconstruction next year.

Lora,
Glad you're healing well.  That's good news to all of us!  Thanks for sharing.  Rest while you can because before you know it you'll be up and running and again real soon.

Lora,

I'm so happy to hear that you're getting better every day!  Looking forward to a day in the near future when you have NO abdominal pain whatsoever!  I'm keeping you in prayer.

Not yet.  I composed and printed a short letter to him, but have not mailed it yet (I need to get out and copy the operative report to include so he can read for himself the other surgeon's description of how tedious it was to free the intestine from the adhesions and mesh).
