Since so many of my coworkers have had RNY, we do spend a lot of time in our own "support group", discussing food, eating, gas problems, and "poop" issues.  It just seems normal to us, and our other coworkers go right along with it.  Also, I work in a hospital, so such topics seem "normal" to me anyway.   :)

I really only talk about it with other WLS folks and only if they talk about it first. I am more apt to talk autoimmune disease, weightlifting and cancer...But WLS with non-op friends and family...Nah...it bores ME to death, I have no desire to chat to them about it.
