I'm almost 8 weeks post op and when I go to sit in the recliner my dogs don't run for the hills!  LOL  It used to be that if they were lounging in the chair and I went to sit down they'd jump down, wait for me to get positioned and then jump back up into my lap..... but now.... only 35lbs down (post op) and they're braver!! They will go all the way over to the side of the recliner and wait for me to sit down (we both fit now!!!) and then get comfy!! 

The dogs are better judges of my butt size then I am! LOL I thought for sure I'd be squishing a dog or two.  LOL
