I found a food that I have to not have AT ALL!

Candy....chocolate more likely. Occasional bites of chocolate desserts is okay but just plain old candy I can't do AT ALL. I just can't stop. At the wedding I went to their was a candy table where you could fill up a container with candy. I got a few reeses peanut butter cups, some hershys chocolates, and some kit kat.....and I just ate a bunch of it. I just lost all judgement and didn't stop. I am ususually not about restricting something completely but I really cannot have chocolate bars of any kind. Just can't do it. With every other food I come across I can have just a little and be fine. Not this!

For me it's crackers.  Any kind of crackers.  I can't stop eating them and I can eat an amazing amount at one time.

Mine is Ramen noodles... I didn't add the flavor packect containing all the fat/sodium either.
I was in the mood for pasta and thought the noodles would be light enough. OMG was I wrong! I thought I was going to die... it was awful!

When it comes to chocolate I don't pu**** much (too much sugar) I treat myself now and then to a hershey kiss or two but that's it... cake/cookies are a weakness of mine so I don't indulge at all!!!

I haven't found a food yet that I haven't been able to control myself on. I keep little mini candy bars at my desk at work and sometimes instead of just eating 1 I do eat 3 or 4. But then I do stop. I know I am probably playing on a slippery sloop though. Chocolate was big weakness of mine before surgery and I have not found any foods that do not agree with me. While I am glad that I have not had dumping or an upset tummy from the foods I have eaten, it does scare me that I may not have an issue. Luckily for me right now, fruit is in season and cheaper than it is in the winter time and I have been stocking my fridge and fruit bowl. So for now I try to reach for a hand full of grapes before reaching for that cookie or chocolate. It is hard but I know that I cannot EVER go back to the way things were before, that's what got me to the point that I needed surgery to start with. I see everyone post on here, moderation. If you know that chocolate is a weakness and you can't control yourself around it, then avoid it. But you had said in a prior post that you didn't get good news about your uncle either. So it could be the stresses of everything that caused you to do what you did. Maybe someday the chocolate will be something that you will be able to do in moderation. Good Luck

Well, that's good and bad.  I have like 10 foods my stomach WILL LET ME EAT.

Yup, Ramen is my Kryptonite, too.  I used to LOVE the stuff (even though it's basically a meat flavored, carb filled salt lick).

Tried it a week or so ago and suffered terribly.  It's probably for the best, because had I been able to tolerate it, I am sure I would have eaten it often.  But, DAMN... ouch.

As far as things I CAN eat, but can't seem to get control over.. pizza.  Thin crust pizza, especially.  I'll keep slowly eating it until I have finished off like 3 slices.  (And at that point I am sick as a dog, of course).  I'm not sure why pizza owns me the way it does, but I just stay away from it now.

I'm a major choc-o-holic, but I dump, so I'm good with sugar-free chocolates. Now, I can control myself there, because if I eat too many, the gas and cramping is almost unbearable, so I know when to stop just after one or two mini bars. They are AWESOME and I have to keep my family away from them too!
