Been Diagnosed......
Since Monday, I would have sworn that any day was going to be my last! After boxes of Gasx (and yes I can read directions) and half a bottle of Mylanta, it turns out that I have Acute Gastritis. Contrary to what I believed, I will survive this. I've never hurt so bad though. My doctor has me on 80 mg of Nexium for 2 weeks and then down to 40 mg. No citric or acid based foods. No ketchup. Now if I can just get some relief!

Tonya, I'm sure that's what I was on my way to having, gastritis or an ulcer. Call the nurse and she said to take Prilosec 2x day, and continue on the Ranitidine 2 x as well. I took the Prilosec and within an hour I was feeling so much better and no more dry heaves, vomiting or stomach burning or pain! Whew!
