What's for dinner - Thursday!

SIGH...just got a huge project at work. Which is good. But bad. Unrealistic deadlines are both energizing and terrifying to me.

Anyhoo...tonight I will be working on some stuff for the BF Holiday Food Tasting (which will be my life for about the next 6 weeks or so). If you're in the MD/VA/DC/PA area, check out the Bariatric Foodie for more details on this event. It's one you won't want to miss!

Dinner tonight will be chili with a VitaTop corn muffin. I'm sort of blah about food these days. I dunno what's up with me. I get very excited about cooking. Eating? Not so much. Funny thing is for all my food persnicketyness you'd think I was a tiny person. Not so!

Here's what else I've had today:

1. Blue plate special (1.5 eggs + cheese + turkey bacon bits + salsa) on a piece of whole wheat toast

2. A green salad with grilled chicken and 2 tbsp lite asian sesame dressing

What's on YOUR plate tonight?

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

Tonight will be spaghetti and meatballs made with ground turkey and a salad. I eat the meatballs and sauce with no pasta.

Today I have had a protein shake for breakfast, a string cheese for a snack and one mini chicken taco for lunch.(It was from an authentic Mexican place and it was super good.) I will probably have another snack between lunch and dinner but I'm too stuffed right now to think about it.

I will also be running 3 miles this evening with one large and one smaller hill. Good times.

I have people coming over for the Packer/Saints game tonight.  No food planned for the game, which I have to figure out in the next hour before my son has football practice.

I keep telling myself I love my husband...who half butt plans everything and then I end up picking up the slack.

I have zero idea...which, is sad. I've felt like monkey-butt the last 2 days and while I've been super-hydrating, eating...not so much.

I will probably end up having some nice, comforting refried beans with shredded cheese and sour cream and salsa.

I went to get my eyes checked for the first time in 5 years and surprise, surprise I have astigmatism. Guess who gets to wear glasses now....sigh.

A lettuce salad w/ a few jalapeno stuffed olives, pepperoncini peppers, sweet peppers, chicken and cheese.  Pretty boring but it tasted good.

I am having trouble with my potassium being too high. I'm having to mess around with what I eat. I am missing lattes and melons.

I am eating salad with ham.

I like the new pic! I should change mine.
