yum yum, cappucino soy milk!
Yeah, but that's only the Mayo Clinic.
The nut that works with the surgeon that has one of the highest success rates in the whole country says it will keep you from absorbing vitamins. And the hospital she is associated with even says so in their orientation to WLS patients.
So clearly your nut is mistaken.
And darn it, why can't I find a smiley that conveys sarcasm?

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I have been doing the Soy Slender Products for months now. Vanilla is ok but chocolate and cappucino are my two faves. and YES they both go great with chocolate protein powder. They also mix great with puddings.
As for the whole disagreement on the soy sucking out vitamins or whatever was said about malabsorbtion GAH (can't remember anyhow)- I was told by my NEW nut that I can have all the soy products I want and that it will not hurt me one bit. I can not have milk products PERIOD.
P.S. I also drink SILK and Pearl brands of soymilk.
