A very short goal list..

In two weeks, I'll be a year out. Wow. So today, I grabbed the notebook I had written my goals down in and started crossing the ones I have completed off the list. I started with 32 goals. Now I have 6. Yep, 6. Amazing! Some are really shallow, others more meaningful, but they are mine.  I'm posting mine here but would love to see others..

Completed:
Go to the doctor without fearing a lecture about my weight
Sit in a booth comfortably
Cross my legs
Rock stilettos again
Stop snoring
Wear scrubs without an X anywhere on the label
Cut up my Lane Bryant card since none of their sizes fit anymore
Wear the seatbelt on an airplane and put the tray table down
Run a 10K
Have my weight start with a 1
Lose enough to resize my rings (3 sizes down!)
Weigh less than just one of my sisters
Fit into my high school prom dress (it's too big!!)
Wrap a regular towel around me
Not shop in the plus size section
Buy a bikini
Complete a pilates class without collapsing to the floor in exhaustion
Have energy
Feel confident about who I am and the way I look
Be medication free (obviously certain things weren't applicable here)
Buy a womens football jersey
Run the bases at a baseball game with my nieces
Go skiing again
Learn to not let food control my life
Follow through with 6 months of counseling to find healthy habits
Start being in pictures again

To Be Completed:
Buy a sexy Halloween costume and look great in it (hasn't been Halloween yet!)
Get pregnant (trying)
Buy a piece of Agent Provacateur or La Perla lingerie and look good in it (not there yet..)
Lose 200 lbs ( I am SOOOOO close!)
Run a marathon
Have a normal BMI

1. wear a pair of riding boots. 
2. close my lane bryant account
3. keep my underwear from falling down my butt
4. be able to paint my own toes
5. not have to worry about if I can fit on the roller coster
6. be smaller than my husband
7. set a good example for my kids
8. cross my legs

 OMG this is just awesome.  what an uplifting post.  

My goals:
Make my family proud of me.
Be able to play with my grandkids on the floor.
Get a real job on the outside world. (instead of daycare)
Be able to take care of my horrible feet.
Get rid of my CPAP
Sit in a chair at a movie theatre, hockey game, baseball game comfortably.
Have more energy and do lots more exercising.
But smaller clothes (i only shop at women within right now).
Cut up my Women Within card.
WEAR MY WEDDING RING AGAIN!! 
Gain lots of confidence..
Where hoodies and real jeans
Feeling Good.

 Hoodies and Jeans are my favorite!!!!  there is nothing more comfortable!!!

Here are just a few of mine.

Be able to climb to the top of the falls with my husband next year on vacation in Helen, Ga. (Couldn't do it this year. Sooo embarrassing!!!)

Get rid of a lot of my medications and take less of the narcotics that I'll be on for life.

Be able to shop in a regular store for my clothes.

To have my husband look at me with "that look" again.

To be healthier and have a more active lifestyle!!!!

You live really close to me.. on my way home from work I go to the gym on Mt. Zion (LA Fitness) sometimes. If you're ever interested in going for a walk/run or to the gym, let me know!

I had many of the already mentioned goals-- here are some others

be able to sit with my knees at my chest
not have food call my name
a non-obese BMI
not sweat all the time
comfortably fit in stadium seating

1.  Not be hesitant about seeing friends from high school
2.  Ride in a biplane with one of the surgeon's that I work with....I was afraid that I couldn't fit in
      that little hole with a parachute on.....or even without the parachute off for that matter. 
3.  Not have to worry about the seatbelts on planes....will it fit or won't it?
4.  To look the way that my husband makes me feel
5.  To rock a sexy dress on our 25th wedding anniversary in 2013
6.  To stop this excessive sweating!!!
7.  To hear people again say "you have beautiful blue eyes", instead of avoiding eye contact.
8.  To be comfortable in my own skin........and many man more.....
I can't wait until December!!!!!!

Love everyone's goals!!

Mine:

1.  To weigh less than my boyfriend, even if only by 1 lb!
2.  To wear a size that doesn't require an X or W.
3.  To get rid of my CPAP!
4.  To not be identified as the "big" girl in the group.
5.  To be able to jog an entire mile without thinking I'm dying. I jog 2 mins and think I'm dying now.
