Okay, I am the QUEEN of HATING protein supplements and really hadn't paid much attention until I was feeling ill and went to see my pcp and he ran a blood draw and told me I was nutiritionally malnourished, so I have increased the hunt for a decent protein. I have discovered protein bars. There is one that I am completely in love with called Supreme Protein-carb conscious- in caramel nut chocolate. 30g protein 4g sugar. It tastes like a 100 grand candy bar. It is pretty big, so I can't eat it all at one shot, so in the morning I cut it into 4's and eat it throughout the day. A pretty easy way to get in 30g. I got it at GNC, a long with a slew of other bars that I'm trying and writing down the ones I like. I was looking at GNC.com to see how much a box is when I disovered Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist. I am excited to try it!
Good luck to you, we can travel this venture together because I have written many posts about protein as well. I am now also going to try the unflavored Isopure, and hopefully then I'll be getting in all of my protein too.
Good luck!

Special K protein water....the powder packets....5 grams of protein per packet, helps a little if you add one to each water, but it tastes really sweet.
Special K protein Plus cereal with whatever kind of milk you like. I eat two servings of it for breakfast....2-=a half cup. Its good with some sweetner on it. If I'm low on protein for the day, I have that as a snack before bed as well.
For lunch, usually I try to fit in some chicken or other type of meat...sliced turkey, etc. or a Detour protein bar (15 grams of protein each, low in fat, low in sugar).
For snacks, I have Special K protein chips with humus or peanut butter. 5-10 grams of protein
For dinner, I eat whatever I am making for the family as long as its not sausage or something like that. If it is, I make fish for myself...in the toaster oven....flounder filets from Costco with a little salt, pepper and paprika on it. Takes like 3 minutes. Sometimes I have shrimp ****tail. Works out to about 20 grams of protein.
My goal is 60 grams of protein a day and following this formula usually gets me where I need to be. If I'm hungry or need something else, I try to have a piece of veggie cheese or a couple of more protein chips.

Those drinks are okay. The protein you should get first is whey isolate. I sometimes drink soy isolates because the whey bothers my stomach at times. I am the same way, but I found that OH YEAH brand chocolate shake and banana creme are pretty good w/out that protein after taste. You can go to their site and get a sample. I get mine at the Vitamin Shoppe.
I love the Oh Yeah banana. Kind of expensive at my Vitamin Shoppe but cheap protein isn't really a bargain if it tastes like monkey butt so you won't actually drink it.

I JUST discovered Unjury online... it is a little pricey, but there was NO grit and it was very good. I got the unflavored kind to mix with stuff like crystal light, but also got samples of the other flavors and was very impressed. For me it's worth the extra money comapred to the jar of Body Fortress I got for cheap at Walmart. Good luck!
