There is nothing wrong with eating whole grain bread in reasonable amounts if you can tolerate it and you enjoy it.  Once cleared by your NUT, go ahead and have some if you like.

I personally don't eat bread at all, but it is by choice.  My NUT says to eat it if I want, but I'd rather not. Just not interested in it at this  point.  Maybe down the road sometime I will try it.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

I am 2 months out and will have wheat bread for breakfast some mornings....usually use it in "toads in a hole"  take a piece of bread, butter it....cut out a hole on the middle and then place the piece I cut out and the the bread with a hole in it and then crack an egg in the hole... so i get dippy eggs without all the carbs that I used to eat with at least 4 pieces of toast!!  tired a chicken salad samwich on toasted whole wheat the other day....could only eat half of a piece but it satisfied my cravings!!  Good Luck!! :)

I eat bread usually the Sara Lee Whole wheat 90 calories english muffin.. almost every other day sometimes more.. I like it toasted dry with egg beaters and cheese.. Bread.. must really be chewed well.. otherwise you will have a ball of bread in your pouch..

Bread I would avoid are fresh baked ones.. they for me are the hardest to chew and digest.

Its all about the balance or carbs and protein..I usually eat my bread in the morning..

I can eat a sandwich (6 yrs out also) but bread needs to be toasted.  I have ate a hot dog in a bun and seem to do ok with that, but I dont eat all of the bun.  Everythng in moderation.
