my RNY surgeon has now agreed to do an exploratory lap surgery...
If it was me, I think I'd let her go ahead and do it next Tuesday but I would not cancel my appt with the other surgeon yet. Just in case she ends up changing her mind or something, or in case she goes in and can't find anything, you may still want to see the other surgeon after all. So I'd wait until after Tues to cancel that appt.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
Yeah, good idea. I'm definitely not cancelling the apppintments at the Cleveland Clini****il after surgery with her, since she might not find anything... and then I'm not sure what to do.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Hi Lora, I am so happy for you that you will finally have the exploratory surgery that you've been wanting for so long. I sincerely hope they finally get to the bottom of this and that they are able to resolve it. I also agree with Kelly that you shouldn't cancel your appt with the new bariatric surgeon until after next week. Good luck with everything.
I hope they find something that is easy to fix, fix it, and that your issues with pain go byebye.
Good luck friend. I'll be checking in to see how you are doing. Sorry I've been so much an absentee friend lately.
