Honey roasted peanuts
So ,I think I am addicted to honey roasted peanuts. i find my self eating them all of the time. especially at night when I get really hungary right before bed. I never ate peanuts or nuts at all before my RNY. So this is stange to me. Am I setting my self up for failue. i am also stalled and I have not lost any real weight in a while.Help!
Check the label. Nuts are a good source of protein but also have a lot of fat. See if you can't balance out the day with dry roasted peanuts, almonds or other nuts and save the honey ones for a treat. I eat them all the time - when I need some extra protein and I'm fine. Moderation is the key, so see if you're over doing it or if you think you're ok.

I eat peanuts alot.. just not honey roasted. Maybe switch to dry roasted or pistachios. If you are really hungry one thing that helps me, are the SF hot coffee drinks. Its longer to sip than eating and is very filling for me. Also, try some crushed up walnuts in carb master yougurt. You don't want to get into the habit of "mindless eating". If I want a snack I fix it on a plate so I know how much I am eating, its part of my plan for the day. I will fix strawberries, cheese and nuts and enjoy!
I am also addicted to them! I compared the Planters Honey Roasted which are also dry roasted with regular and the difference wasnt big enough for me to care. But I only buy the smaller containers and once it is empty I dont buy them for a while. My "obsession" usually switches to something else then lol Edamame is another "obsession" I get :-P
I like nuts but I don't eat them often. To me they are more of a winter time snack thing. Guess it's how I was raised since there is not a real season for nuts. If I were you, I would mix equal parts of the dry roasted and honey roasted. Cuts the sugar but still gives the pleasure of the sweet and salty.
I love honey roasted peanuts too. I ate them all the time before surgery but haven't tried them since then. I've been eating dry roasted which isn't the same for me but peanuts are the only nut I can eat due to food allergies. I'm going to try 1/4th cup in the 50/50 method for snack and see if that helps my cravings. Great idea.
Go to Whole Foods and get the Honey Roasted Peanut Butter fresh out of the grinder.
You will NEVER buy jarred peanut butter again. (Except maybe White Chocolate Wonderful...on occasion?)
It's cheap, delicious and um...counts as protein, right? ;)
