Tired of being compared!!!
I'll be blunt, tell them to STFU, it's none of their business.
I abhor negative people that think they can tell others any damn thing they feel like it. It's time to STOP taking it from others; stand up for yourself.

Speak up, girl!!
When asked, how long did it take you to lose 66 pounds, I would reply, "as long as my body needed!" How ignorant!! it is one thing for us to compare our weight loss to one another, but that was just plain rude!! My daughter asked, but it is out of genuine concern-as she may be thinking of surgery herself. For me, it is a combination of things, age, on insulin and having less than 100 pounds to lose. I am glad you are realizing just how ignorant those who try to compare us are!! I take it that she would not be interested in hearing the medical reasons for your particular rate, so she does not deserve one.

I had a situation before where my out-of-state sister made some hurtful comments to us here dealing with parents illness/death/estate, etc. I was not going to respond because it would have hurt her feelings. Then I thought to myself that she did not care about our feelings when she made her comments so I decided to respond. Luckily, my older brother beat me to it. It shut her up.
SPEAK UP. They did not care about hurting your feelings. Stand up for yourself.....
Well, I'm less than 40 lbs. from goal...
Since I don't have that much more to lose I don't weigh myself often...
She is much heavier than me so that is to be expected.....
etc.

Asking the offending/rude party..."How much do you THINK I've lost?"
Usually someone who is heavier might lose more weight quicker, but they have more to lose and usually don't "show" it until around 70+ lbs (No one commented on my weight loss until I had lost around 80+ lbs). I started at around a size 28 and 280 lbs.
Also, weightlifting and weight training can "firm up" your bod and make it look HOT, hot hot! You can try that as well. Other than that...Ignore those who ask, for they do not know their stupidity or rudeness... If you must answer them...Ask "Why do you want to know?" (That shuts down A LOT of people immediately!) OR say "My doctor is very pleased with my loss and how I am progressing!" and give them your clothes size instead (if you must!)
Good luck!
Warmly,
Jackie
