whew!!! Surgery was Tuesday morning and I finally got to come home Late Friday evening.  The whole process was not very bad except for the fact that during the procedure i lost alot of blood and then later that day by blood pressure dropped to 77/40.  I ended up haveing to get a blood transfusion.   That was pretty scary becasue, or course i never expected that.  Anyway my Dr was awesome and he got me back to the blood platlet and blood pressure that i needed to be at.  The hospital staff were awesom.  Glad to be back home in my own bed!!  I have not had much pain at all.  So far i have only experienced one episode with Gas.  I burp alot, but i'm nott passing gas from the other end!!

I'm home and feeling great!  I even got out of the house today and went shopping with my daughter.  I know I have some rough days coming in the future, but for now i am just enjoying how well i feel.

Hope there is a spot for me on the losers bench!!!!!

Glad you are home and not in pain! Also glad that your blood pressure situation was fixed.

Keep us updated. I have my surgery on Monday, can't wait to get it over with, I'm SO sick of this liquid diet, lol. I know I'll be on a liquid diet after surgery, but hopefully then I won't feel like I'm starving half to death!

WOW....you already have been out shopping!!!  GOOD for YOU!!  I came home Friday and am doing pretty well.....except for the gas.  I am burping a lot, but need to pass gas and it feels stuck.  I walk and move and some does pass but I have not had a bowel movement yet and wishing I so COULD TMI, I know, but that is where I am at. I am glad you are doing so well!  GOOD GOING

Sorry to hear about your scary situation but it sounds like you have your head in the right place.  Good for you getting out shopping on your first day home.  I too just had surgery and am in the same frame of mind as you, the sooner I can get back to life, the better!  But be sure to listen to your body, it does need time to rest and heal.  Looking forward to watching your journey!
