Anyone else feel even MORE full after drinking (even when you wait to drink)?

It’s always been that way for me, which is why I think I have a tendency to wait so long after eating to drink. I get in all my fluids but drinking is like the second coming of a meal. I feel even MORE full upon first drinking after a meal.

Not that I’m complaining. It’s just interesting to me. When folks ask about eating/drinking together I often think to myself “even if I wanted to I don’t think I could" because of this.

Yes. I've tried to take a drink if something is too spicy or salty and that nearly puts me over the top. I have to wait at least the 30 minutes to drink.

I have to concentrate on getting my fluids in and then if I have time to work food into the mix.

I am the same way.  Can't eat and drink.  Sometimes it is even painful if I forget and take a drink to soon.  I wait a min. or 30 minutes usually more like an hour or so.

I was told to wait an hour before drinking and sometimes even then it feels too soon. I do get in 80-100 ounces of water every day, though.

Definitely, I tried once to have a drink (alcoholic) before dinner & could only eat about 3 bites.

I struggle with this often.  I'm not drinking enough I can feel it, when I drink enough I don't eat enough.  It's a catch 22, always has been for me.  I've not had a problem wanting to drink when I eat, I really don't feel it possible and would be afraid I'd get sick.

that's me, exactly!!! i NEED to have something to drink when i eat...i've learned to take very small sips, but i just cannot stand the feel of my mouth after eating and not being able to have a sip of water or iced tea.
when it's between meals and i can drink when i want, i have to be careful about gulping down an entire glass of water, sometimes i'm just so thirsty, especially in the heat of this summer...but i do catch myself and have not had the awful feeling i know will come if i did.
